Functional Pottery by Eric Holey
Functional Pottery by Eric Holey
It all began with a bowl. I have always been drawn to the importance of bowls as a serving vessel and to the shape and elegant lines. I love to make all forms, but bowls are my favorite thing to throw.
All of my work is wheel thrown functional stoneware, created to be as useful as it is beautiful. Great care is taken to carefully throw, trim and glaze each individual piece to make work that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
I began my ceramic journey in College, then took a 35 year hiatus. It has become my passion and full time profession. I present my work in galleries and at art fairs throughout the Midwest.

I will be having several events and sales over the next few months. Sign up for my mailing list and watch this space for announcements. Also, please follow me on Facebook at the Dancing Cat Arts page or on Instagram at ericholeypottery.
